lyrics
As luzes da cidade
O ronco do automóvel
A pressa de viver
A incompreensão
A gente caminhando pelos descaminhos
Com tanto desamor e tanta solidão
Abraço minha nega e minha Viola
É faço um samba triste sem explicação
Só cantar
Eu canto para não chorar
Eu olho pro meu filho
E fico matutando
Por quê botei no mundo
Sem lhe perguntar
Eu chego na janela
E sinto um arrepio
No dia de amanhã a vida o que será
Acendo meu cigarro e olho pra fumaça

Dreamy, hypnotic, lovely music. Simple and beautiful arrangements. What a wonderful taste Sessa has. Without any doubt, one of the very best records of 2022, I have the feeling it will be soon considered a classic everythingroovin'

Like so many others, this came like a bolt out of the blue and, even though it's well before payday, I had to have this astonishing album on vinyl to prove it exists. The feel of the tunes makes me feel like the Impressions do, Curtis Mayfield, the big spaces and instinctive horns and stuff drifting in and out. Great grooves and I can see lots of ghosts nodding along to this with big smiles on their faces. At last! Anthony Cottrell
